Over the years country music has been heard internationally more and more from artists, musicians and broadcasters who make it a mission to bring it to the fans from all over the world. The best known names such as Kip Moore, Luke Combs and more have garnered their deserved nods this year.
CMA International honor artists and industry executives who have supported and impacted the growth and promotion of Country Music in the international marketplace. Nominees are recognized in multiple categories and voted on by international members of CMA along with a select panel of U.S.-based professionals who have extensive knowledge in the international Country Music industry. These nominees from Australia, Canada, Germany, New Zealand, Scotland, South Africa, Sweden, the U.K. and the U.S. are honored for their continued efforts in expanding Country Music’s reach around the globe.

Luke Combs, Kip Moore and Morgan Wallen are up for the International Artist Achievement Award. This Award recognizes outstanding achievement by a U.S.-based artist who has demonstrated the most signifigant creative growth, development and promotion of the country music industry outside of the U.S. during the eligibility period. All nominees have earned this step in their careers and I wish them all the best. Actually they are already winners for me due to the contributions they have made to get Country music out there internationally.
